Donation Progress

Goal by Sept. 1 is $25,000

You did it! Thank you for all your generous donations.

As of August 1 Give Us Wings has received $26,632.36 in donations specifically for the Nyaoga Matching Grant!.

We will now receive a $30,000 matching grant!

We are still accepting donations for this important project, so keep those donations coming.

Mari Group Project Photos and Details

  • Members of Mari Group
    The Mari Group of 26 people with disabilities and their families live in horrific, violent slums in small dark rooms that house up to 18 people. There is no privacy, sanitation or respect for their differences. They have supported each other for 12 years, despite ridicule, loneliness, physical pain, and a lack of opportunity and basic human needs. Join us on March 28 and help rebuild lives, dignity and hope for the Mari Group.

Special Guests

  • Star Tribune Film Critic Colin Covert
    Special guests for the evening include FOX9's Robyne Robinson, singer/songwriter/actress Mari Harris, Star Tribune Film Critic Colin Covert, singer/guitarist/songwriter Chris Herriges, and entrepreneur, vision coach and musician Charlie Hartwell who will share his video Africa Rising.
