The Mari Group of 26 people with disabilities and their families live in horrific, violent slums in small dark rooms that house up to 18 people. There is no privacy, sanitation or respect for their differences. They have supported each other for 12 years, despite ridicule, loneliness, physical pain, and a lack of opportunity and basic human needs.
